International Customer Publishing Awards 2009 – overall Grand Prix winner.

That’s right – this magazine was judged by the industry to be the best customer magazine in the world in 2009.

This award-winning magazine has not only raised CAMRA’s profile significantly among beer-lovers – membership has increased by 63 per cent since BEER was launched – it has also attracted comment from a clutch of high-calibre commentators, such as Sebastian Faulks, Neil Morrissey, Marco Pierre White, Dylan Jones, James May and Prue Leith.

A member survey launched last year showed that 75 per cent of CAMRA members ranked BEER magazine as being a key factor in their decision to join, or remain a member, and 87 per cent of readers rated the magazine editorial as either ‘good’, ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’. ‘Your new-style magazine is a triumph, having emerged in fine fettle, excellent format and fully mature,’ says one CAMRA member.
