Think is an award-winning, creative and entrepreneurial agency, founded by Ian McAuliffe and Tilly Boulter in 1999. Today, we employ more than 60 members of staff, work with 40+ clients and have offices in London and Glasgow.

Ian McAuliffe CEO

Ian has a dual role as CEO and commercial director at Think. With 30 years’ publishing experience, Ian has developed award-winning content programmes on behalf of more than 40 membership organisations as well as blue–chip clients including Marks & Spencer, the BBC, ASDA and BMW. Ian is responsible for Think’s sales teams who deliver in more than £4.5m in advertising, sponsorship and partnership on behalf of our clients. Ian has been awarded PPA Publisher of the Year and PPA Subscription Publisher of the Year.

Tilly Boulter Chair

Tilly is co-founder of Think, drives Think’s corporate strategy and is involved in creating content strategy for clients. Tilly started her career at Condé Nast in Paris, was a strategic planner at Lintas and Marketing Director at Ketchum PR. Tilly consults for the Liberal Democrats on content strategy and works with Baroness Bonham Carter, LibDem Media & Creative Industries spokesperson. Tilly speaks French and Italian and was awarded the PPA Individual Achievement Award in 2009.

Polly Arnold Managing Director

Polly is the head of teams at Think and works closely with our account directors, creatives and digital experts to ensure all our work is produced to the highest standard and delivered on time and on budget. Polly conceived and runs the Grand-Prix Award-winning BEER magazine for CAMRA. Prior to joining Think in 2008, Polly was commissioning editor for Tatler and Vanity Fair and Group Account Director at Forward and John Brown, delivering magazines for clients including Mothercare, John Lewis and Patek Philippe.

John Innes ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR

John runs Think’s office in Glasgow as well as ensuring the smooth running of all client accounts managed by its team. John has more than 25 years’ experience creating content and events for membership and consumer organisations. He has conceived and launched award-winning content and communications strategies for clients as diverse at Historic Scotland, the National Trust for Scotland, ICAS, the Royal Society of Biology and Whale and Dolphin Conservation. John has been awarded PPA Scotland Publisher of the Year three times.

Jackie Scully HEAD OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT & THINK INTELLIGENCE PROGRAMME DIRECTOR

In addition to running award-winning accounts for the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT), the Chartered Management Institute (CMI) and the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT), Jackie is the first point of contact for all new clients. She also runs Think Intelligence, our strategic planning department. Here she delivers a series of research projects, round tables and breakfast briefings, which inform our teams and the membership profession as a whole. Jackie was named a “Woman of the Future” in the 2015 national awards.

Nicola Solomon ACA FINANCE DIRECTOR

Nicola is responsible for the effective financial control and management of all Think accounts, as well as the development of the finance department. Nicola qualified at Ernst & Young, where she trained as an auditor, working for a wide range of clients. She has previously worked for WH Smith Group, Waterstones Booksellers and Marchpole (Yves Saint Laurent menswear), where she led process improvement initiatives. Nicola is very important.

Jessamy Dixon BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

Jessamy is the first point of contact for anyone interested in finding out more about Think and what we do. Jessamy can explain to you all of the services we offer and send you a selection of magazines, case studies and web links. Jessamy also runs Think Intelligence research reports, so if you would like to take part in these or would like a copy, please get in touch. Prior to joining the new business department, Jessamy worked in advertising sales across print and digital platforms.

Think is recruiting for enthusiastic, ambitious and energetic content specialists to play a pivotal role in the strategic development, implementation and creation of compelling content for major B2B clients. The content output aims to increase awareness and brand visibility, drive traffic and enhance audience engagement. The ideal candidates will have at least three years’ experience delivering multiplatform content for a brand(s) that has consistently produced results, engaged its target audience and attracted repeat visitors. Candidates will have a proven ability to write persuasively across multiple mediums – digital, social, mobile and print – and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as within an external organisation’s structure. Knowledge, experience and regular use of Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, rough-cut video creation, infographic creation, blogging, analytics, SEO, etc, is essential.
